Ten years after introducing the Concept car that eventually became the Bentley Continental GT, the legendary British Company is back at the Paris Motor Show, with another high-performance "concept" car. The new member of the Bentley family, this Continental GT3 is a concept in name only, as the organization is specific about the point that its first appearance represents a return to motorsports for the brand.
Previously we saw the flying B on a race car, it was when Bentley was claiming credits at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2003. The GT3 looks for to take up that layer, as well as the history of road-going Bentleys being modified into popular sports jet car.
Though specialized information’s are nonexistent in the Bentley press release, the company has given us something to work with, with regards to the sport car that will eventually outcome from this system. The GT3 will, normally, develop on the very powerful performance of the Continental GT Speed, including a rear-drive framework, a large aerodynamic system (the side seen here is no joke) and "state-of-the-art motorsport components."
Bentley's return to the track isn't so far off, either. The company claims that the FIA supported racer will be in the pits by the end of 2013; capable of competing in multiple series and events, including endurance racing. If the final product doesn't end up at Le Mans, we'll eat our hat.
The organization states that the FIA supported racer will be set by the end of 2013; capable of competing in several sequence and activities, such as stamina racing. If the ultimate item doesn't end up at Le Guys, we'll eat our hat.
