Peugeot B1K Chainless Drivetrain Bike

The B1K concept bicycle has been designed as a race bike by incorporating various unique features aiming to make it suitable for convenient riding on different surfaces. The unique chainless design of the bike allows the rider not to worry about a chain displacing anymore and provides great control over the bike. The carbon fiber construction along with the compact shape of the bike has made it lightweight. The unique tubeless construction of the tires has made it even more functional and the rod connecting the seat and the head tube helps splitting the weight of the rider to ensure soft riding.

Peugeot Flux

The peugeot design contest theme was re-invent the 'Drive of Your Life', six letters sum up the philosophy of this fourth invitation to the creativity: P.L.E.A.S.E. !
P : Pleasurable (to drive)
L : Lively
E : Efficient
A : Accessible
S : Simple
E : Ecological
As explained by Mr. Mihai Panaitescu, 20, student of I.E.D. Turin major in Transportation Design the concept peugeot flux was to design a vehicle that pleases it's occupants in every way. It's versatility combined with it's sportiness and the ability to use it in different environments are in my opinion some of the vehicle's strong points.  Either as an explorer of sandy beaches, sweeping mountain roads, or simply commuting in the city, the Flux concept embodies a vehicle that is made to please. It's dynamic shape and open air cockpit make it lively and fun to drive as the occupants are always in contact with their surroundings.
The name Flux was inspired by the continuous change and flow of our daily lives during work and play. The shape also represents this flow with transitions through hard and smooth lines, between straight and curved all of which are characteristics of Peugeot.A relatively small car (3500cm long by 1650cm wide), it runs on a slim hydrogen power plant hidden in the back along with the tank mounted under the front bonnet. The hood and side body panels are made from plastic, polyurethane for the seats and aluminum for the mechanical parts. The main components such as the chassis and head protection are metal. Made up of simple body work (basic intersected volumes) the car is easily produced and accessible to everyone but most of all, it's fun to drive.  Adding to this, the car is also a gaming hub thanks to the integrated Xbox 360 so P.L.E.A.S.E. hop in!!!

Loremo LS

The car industry realized that they need to pay more attention to the serious demand of green vehicles. And in 2008, I'm pretty sure that we'll see plenty of new concepts and vehicles that will change the way we move around.

Loremo LS is based on the concept that by reducing weight, one can increase the fuel efficiencyof the vehicle. Safety is not a problem, the company is confident that the steel cell construction method provides the vehicle with a solid rigidity and enough of a deformation area for it to be safe to drive around the city. The design of the Loremo impresses. It has a very unique body shape, giving it clear individuality. Furthermore, rather than having two side doors for the drivers to enter the vehicle, there is a front wing door which swings upwards and to the front, allowing access to the vehicle.

A large contributor to fuel inefficiency is the sheer weight of a vehicle. Loremo AG, a German car corporation, has used this as the inspiration for the Loremo LS, a sporty, low-weight, low-resistance vehicle that according to the company will boast the lowest emissions for any vehicle ever.

Car on a Stick

Car on stick as your future urban transport. Those bubble-shaped cars are powered by solar canopies on the roof, very fascinating imagination isn't it? At night, the bubble cars are stored atop telescopic poles, we can use parked vehicles to provide illumination to the city at night. There is no need for a driver, because these cars are controlled by satellite and GPS navigation, consist of four seats for four passengers sit in circular fashion.

BMW 328 Hommage

BMW has launched the 328 Hommage concept, a design study concerned with a speedster, at the Villa d'Este. Taking its inspiration from the legendary 328 model, some of its awe-inspiring features include carbon-fiber body with asymmetric windscreen. The 328 Hommage holds the same layout. It is an exceptional 2-seater roadster having a front-mounted engine with a lightweight construction. The 328 Hommage BMW is unlike the 1930's model in terms of its make, the usage of carbon fiber reinforced plastic. The exterior design boasts a surface treatment related to the one followed by BMW for its newest concepts, with its design incorporating an assortment of elements, which creates a visual tie to the original model. Thanks to the usage of materials as well as freely suspended elements including 2 iPhones included in the dashboard via special aluminum housing having a silhouette of classic stopwatches , that expresses a sense of lightness in terms of its interior structure. Clear-cut lines run across the sedan body's taut surfaces. Overall, the 328 Hommage model is very awe-inspiring.

Designed by Tilmann Schlootz, German designer, this Snook concept is original and agile personal mobility vehicle that rides on a sphere.
Take a look at the multi-directional engine which consists of a sphere-wheel and enables the driver to navigate and steer the auto-stabilized cain in every direction. You'll feel new driving experience, Audi Snook offers new maneuvers, fun driving, and satisfying the needs of future urban mobility.

Tilmann Schlootz describes his project: "The Magic Egg of Columbus, or better, two billard balls standing on each other: this icon is my origin on the way of reducing the hardware demands of physical mobility to the minimum.
One point touching the ground, the inverse pendulum in motion. Agility through instability, controlled by artificial intelligence – that is my formal issue."
The concept model and designer Tilmann Schlootz will be present at the "Hannover Fair" (21-25 April 2008).

Michelin Solid

Nowadays the emphasis is being given to private vehicles for maneuvering in and around the city. Also with this increase in vehicles, the parking spaces are getting cramped up by the day. It is but obvious to have an amicable solution for the same. In comes Solid – the vehicle. Designed by Nikita Gutsalenko, currently pursuing fifth year in Product Design and Transport Design at the Ural State Academy of Architecture and Arts, Russia

The Solid vehicle does have the standard protection means, like safety-belts and airbags. It also has two special elements installed in front and in the back of the car. These elements provide additional maneuverability by turning around. They also are very strong in if a crash occurs as they take the damage on itself and thus saving the booth.

The deformation of the Booth is prevented by a frame ring. In the interior, a display is installed thus creating a panoramic view. The Airbags installed in wheel of the car will operate at the side. With an approach sensor it turns on the auto brake system. The car creates the sensation of reliability as its Image is associated with specialized machines, all we can say is welcome to the future.

Flux

The flux is a small, electric vehicle concept that has been designed to address the current vehicle related problems like storage space requirement, alternate power efficiency, weather resistance, and many more. The main focus of the vehicle is to provide unique ergonomics and maximum usability by featuring a more relaxed seating arrangement that helps the rider in pedaling by freeing up the legs, allowing more air circulation around them. The telescoping steering ensures convenient driving for users with different arm length and can be moved out when the driver enters the vehicle. Easy entry and exit has achieved via the hydraulic vertical tilting door. The flux, from both inside and outside, incorporates some very traditional and easy to access manufacturing techniques that provides stability while quickly turning by leaning the body of the driver. To make night riding an enjoyable experience, the vehicle features powerful LEDs in both front and rear lights for high visibility.
