Incubator Concept Car

Just like its name suggests, Incubator concept car was inspired by the work of incubation that provides ideal environmental condition to protect and keep premature infants warm. It's been designed to help South Africa Wildlife Park's managers to take care injured animals easier. Currently, they use Safari car as main transportation to drive through the meadow, but this car is ineffective when it comes to carry injured animal for treatment.

Due to global warming, we need to maintain our ecosystem to keep ideal environment quality. Wild animals in Africa are dying from rapid desertification. Incubator concept car is a design study which has been proposed to move around through meadow faster and more effective, not to mention the incubation area at the backseat area which can be used to carry injured animals safely.

AKA24 Maglev Concept

A winner of the 2014 Driven/Undriven Michelin Design Challenge, the AKA24 concept goes beyond the brief to design a vehicle that switches between user-control & autonomy; it reimagines the entire transportation system as we know it. Operating on a maglev-like system of tracks, the vehicle moves to the protected side walls vertically in "undriven" mode & back to the center lane for the user-controlled "driven" mode. Set your destination & kick back in the multi-position cabin or take the wheel to navigate your own way!

BOT Autonomous Cab

BOT autonomous cab is an ideal transportation for areas with relatively low population. It's a future vision of a new transportation system that could replace cars since most people would prefer to use public transport for commuting. This concept car addresses the problem of lone car commuters, at the same time, it eliminates the waiting periods, last mile issues, and inflexibility. People will get to experience the same functionality of car without having to own one, it's relatively cheap and safe cab that they get to share with others to reduce cost/ride and traffic congestion. It's a perfect transportation for your daily rides to work. Everyone can access this vehicle, it offers door-to-door mobility for elderly people, children, and people with disabilities. Sharing the ride also means that you get to meet new people everyday, it strengthens the feeling of belonging to the society.

People can ask ride-request to these Bots, it can be easily done via a mobile device. This cab will pick up user at any location, just like a taxi will do and drive the user to the destination. A single cab that is shared, theoretically can replace 4 private cars, thus, making great contribution to reduce traffic congestion. Aside from that, since BOT autonomous cab doesn't require parking spaces, it allows more urban space given back to the people. Unlike buses or trains which operate even when they are empty, BOTs only operate when needed and where needed.

The design of this cab features friendliness, honesty, simplicity, and optimism, few aspects that often forgotten in automotive industry. It's not egocentric, it creates better connection between you and other people.

WaterWheel Water Carrier for Urban India

In India, collecting and carrying water is women's responsibility. In rural areas, they have to carry water from distant sources and most often than not, a day's supply of water means multiple trips to the local well. WaterWheel has been designed to help these women to improve the experience of collecting, storing and using the water. Do you know that women in India spend like 25% of their time each day just to collect water? Well, with this concept water carrier, they can transport 50L at once, this is 3-5 times more water compared to the traditional methods (buckets or jars). The cap-in-cap design prevents recontamination at the point of use, it's more hygienic, thus reducing the possibility of getting diarrhea disease which according to WHO is the second leading cause of death in children under 5 years old.

The high quality plastic material is human-safe, it's durable enough to handle even the roughest terrain, it will certainly last for a long period of time. The main form of this water carrier was inspired by the shape of traditional matka or jar which clearly indicates the main function of WaterWheel.

Cross X Hybrid Bicycle by Mithun Darji

Cross X hybrid bicycle has been designed as personal mobility in urbanizing countries. Many people are getting aware of the benefits of cycling, it's an icon of sustainability and health. Other things that also play important parts in this phenomenon are the attractiveness of ergonomic and stylish bike design and infrastructure support from policy makers.

Based on research, there is 2-digit growth for bikes and scooters sales in emerging countries. This means there's a great demand for cost-effective, efficient personal mobility in crowded traffic. Unfortunately, current bicycle designs don't really address these demands, therefore, Cross X hybrid bicycle makes an attempt to bridge the gap. It's a bike which can be used for medical emergencies in secluded areas or browsing around large campuses.

There's a retractable rear wing that at higher speeds, it deploys and tilt forward to provide you with additional downforce. Aggressive body is expressed with taut surfaces and dramatic fender forms to attract eyes when covered in red hue.

The front engine rear-wheel drive configuration is located at the cockpit far rearward within wheel base, this way, it will improve weight distribution equally. The design elements also consider classic sportscar proportion, something that you can expect from a vehicle designed to dominate the road. Unfortunately, there are no technical specifications for this concept just yet.

Bicycle Travel Tent

Biking and camping go hand-in-hand, so this clever combination makes perfect sense for anyone looking for adventure! The Travel Tent is integrated seamlessly into a specialized bicycle wheel, giving the rider easy access once they arrive at their destination. It also takes some of the load off the rider's back while freeing up space for other cargo. No question that it's a smart concept, but I'd love to see a version that adapts to any existing tire!

Ultra-Light Mosquito Helicopter

The Ultra-Light Mosquito Helicopter Can Go Through Even Caves

The ultra-lightweight mosquito helicopter concept has been designed for army to commute through difficult terrains like canyons, forests and even caves. This flying object is empowered with four GEMINI technology based powerful electric motor and contains carbon nanotube super-capacitors that provides the energy to run the motors. When the pilot triggers the helicopter, the integrated computer controls the stability and levitation of the helicopter and to rotate it left, right, backward, forward, up and down, the driver has to lever his both hands to shift the helicopter in the preferred direction. However, the concept is not able to generate a high speed, but its silent operation and excellent steering capability can make it a very functional. In case of any danger, the computer will activate the emergency landing program automatically.
